Team Challenge
Each team gets one challenge per game. The coach must throw or shoot their challenge prop onto the field before the next pitch. The umpiring crew reviews the play.
- Won (overruled): Team keeps their challenge
- Lost or inconclusive: No more challenges for the rest of the game
Challengeable categories: fair/foul ball calls, force/tag plays, catch plays in the outfield or infield, and missed base calls.
Fan Challenge
Fans also get one challenge per game via a selected fan representative. To challenge, the fan shoots confetti and holds up the official “Fan Challenge” sign.
